Carbon Magics has a wealth of experience and capability in using carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) and glass fibre reinforced plastic (GFRP) based structures and materials for lightweighting. Our engineers are actively contributing to SAE Technical Working Groups and closely working with fellow industrial technologists and academic ecosystem domain experts. Our capabilities include design and qualification of assistive technologies products complying to the fit, form and function of structural components and assemblies to their original design intent.Â
Environmentally friendly composites are used across many industries including automotive interiors, rail interiors, aircraft cabin and interiors, consumer goods, submarine interiors, personal mobility vehicles, urban air mobility vehicles, drones and electric vehicles. Our expertise in this domain includes design for manufacture, design for performance and design to cost leverages. Over the last 18 months, we have developed a digital embedded smart blind cane for the visually impaired peopled, by incorporating a filament wound carbon fibre tube and a custom designed DigiCane product. The product has gone through a number of field trials and rigorous testing for the reliability of system hardware and its performance in obstacle alert and SoS buzzer communication to the care taker through GPS/GSM modules.
